Part 27 - Jane 22:30 Saturday evening
“I’m sorry. If you
can’t pay, you shouldn’t have bid.”
“But I can pay on my credit card tomorrow,” pleaded Jane.
“But I can pay,” insisted Jane.
“The machine’s rejected your transaction. We’re going to have to go back to the second
bidder. We’ll have to see if he’ll hold
his price.”
“No, please.”
“Will you come with us Madam. Fraud is a serious issue. The police have been called and will want to
interview you.”
“But it’s all a big mistake and I want Andy back.”
“That’s as maybe, Madam but you’ve just tried to defraud a
charitable auction. Come along now. I’m
sure you don’t want to cause a scene.”
“Very well. Make sure
you bring my shopping. I don’t want that
getting lost. I did pay for it.”
When the Lift announced “Floor 23”, Jane was led out and
along a corridor. There was a knock and
then they were admitted to a thickly carpeted room. Jane was pushed forward. Then the halter neck of her dress was
unbuttoned and the back unzipped. The
clasp clicked home on a steel collar that now encircled her neck.
end of Part 27
Oh good, Lady Jane finally gets he comeuppance. I never really liked her. Always thinking of herself and what she could get out of poor Andy. Now she will be brought down a peg or two. Thanks for the nice little clips every day. Now Andy will be off to Mr. V and be shown a little tenderness as a change.
